Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy AnalystWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Analyst to join our newly formed Investments, M&A & Valuation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial analysis and valuation support for our CIO and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain complex corporate and asset-level financial models and valuations within the renewable energy sector.
- Support the CIO and senior management in shaping our investment strategy globally.
- Lead financial modelling work, develop and maintain quantitative and qualitative analyses of prospective organic investments, acquisition opportunities, or divestments of renewable energy assets/projects or companies.
- Evaluate and challenge inputs to investment decisions, especially those inputs that are key to valuation results, including identifying key value drivers.
- Effectively communicate results and provide support to ensure informed senior management decisions and that financial impacts are understood by all internal and external stakeholders.
- 2-3 years of experience with complex corporate and asset-level financial modelling and valuation within renewable energy or broader energy infrastructure sectors.
- Solid understanding of relevant corporate and project finance, accounting, and tax matters.
- Experience in preparing investment analysis, presentations, and decision papers and presenting those to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in dealing with senior professionals, consultants, and investment banks.
