Maxwell Bond is a leading financial and legal services company that has achieved remarkable year-on-year growth of 20%. As a result, they are scaling their tech team and seeking a skilled Technical Author to create high-quality technical documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Technical Author to join our team. As a Technical Author, you will work closely with our product, QA, and software engineering teams to produce engaging and informative technical documentation. Your primary responsibility will be to create user guides that accurately deliver training to end clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and operational resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical documentation.
  • Write and edit technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Work with the engineering team to create documentation for new products and features.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in creating technical documentation, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate technical jargon and complex systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools and technologies, such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar.
