About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Door and Window Fabricator to join our workshop team at Next Doors Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the fabrication of doors and windows in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication of Doors and Drive Thru windows in accordance with drawings and specifications
  • Work within a team to meet production targets
  • Preparing aluminium including cutting profiles using chop saw, drilling and marking up
  • Perform basic math calculations to measure and mark dimensions on materials for cutting
  • Using punch tooling, router and milling machine
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain workshop H&S for a safe working environment
  • Maintain workshop General House Keeping for a safe working environment
  • Glazing where required
  • Delivering and collecting the aluminium to and from the powder coaters
Requirements
  • Experience in all aspects of fabrication scopes, minimum 2 years
  • Ability to interpret design drawings, assembly lists & cutting lists.
  • Be able to adhere to Health & Safety & safe working practices.
  • Essential experience using metal working tools, such as chop saw, angle grinders, router, punching machines
  • Due to insurance restraints all applicants must be over the age of 25 and have held a driving license for at least 2 years.
Preferred
  • Knowledge & experience with Comar or Kestral Aluminium systems.
