Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of our Nursery, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children aged 9 months to 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional leadership and management of the Nursery, guaranteeing compliance with educational standards and providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.
  • Design and implement a variety of activities tailored to the developmental needs of children, utilizing observation and assessment methods.
  • Lead and support a team of staff, collaborating with the Head of School to enforce policies and procedures effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider community to enhance the Nursery experience.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership skills, a passion for early years education, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Experience in collaborating with external agencies and professionals is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities and effective multitasking capabilities, are required.

Qualifications:
A full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or higher is mandatory, while a Level 4 Management or Level 5 childcare qualification is preferred.

Working Hours:
The Nursery operates during term time and for two weeks of the school holidays, ensuring a balanced schedule for staff and children.
