The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Data Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering data products and solutions that drive actionable insights and empower stakeholders across the organization.

As a Data Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business impacts and requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive the development and deployment of data products that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Data Strategy: Deliver the data and analytics strategy in line with our vision and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead Data-Led Projects: Execute data-led strategic projects, proactively managing expectations and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify, manage, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including Technology, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Pricing teams.
  • Data Discovery and Requirements: Drive an effective data discovery process, ensuring data and analytics requirements are considered and represented appropriately.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with the data and analytics team to support inter-team coordination and ensure the successful implementation of data products, producing and maintaining relevant documentation.

Requirements

  • Data Techniques and Approaches: Possess a good theoretical understanding of data techniques and common approaches across reporting, analytics, engineering, and science, including end-to-end data ingest to insight.
  • Technical Collaboration: Be comfortable working closely with technical teams and available to answer questions and provide clarity whenever necessary.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Keen to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment, taking ownership and bringing creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm to improving deliverables.
  • Communication and Relationship-Building: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with accuracy and clarity, and experience of developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships at executive or senior levels within an organization.
  • Data Passion and Holistic Thinking: Passion for understanding and championing data, in terms of challenges and capabilities, with an active listening approach and proactive, holistic thinking.
  • Team Collaboration: A team player who enjoys collaboration and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Essential Skills

  • Product Management and Data Process: Familiarity with product management, with an understanding of the end-to-end data process.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with the principles of Agile methodologies and principles.

Desirable Skills

  • Atlassian Toolset: Good knowledge of the Atlassian toolset, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • E-commerce Experience: Experience working in an e-commerce environment.
  • Design Collaboration: Competent in the use of Figma and Figjam for design collaboration and workshopping.
