About the Role

iDPP is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a network implementation project for a large, regulated construction environment. You will work with us on a project with a renowned international energy company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with site safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring expenditures are within the approved budget.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts with sub-contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
Critical Success Factors
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Precise cost estimation and diligent financial tracking to prevent budget overruns.
  • Effective Communication: Clear coordination with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipating and addressing potential cost and procurement issues before they impact the project timeline or budget.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Maintaining strict adherence to site safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure project compliance and safety.
Requirements
  • Educated to a Degree level in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering discipline.
  • Experience of NEC contracts.
  • Demonstrable experience in a quantity surveyor role with evidence of commercial management success.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with proven experience in resolving difficult or disputed accounts to finality.
  • Experience of Financial and Contract Management software packages (desirable).
