Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigated Fraud File Handler to join our team at Keoghs. As a key member of our commercial litigation team, you will be responsible for handling complex fraud cases from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Run fraud cases from the point of litigation through to resolution, ensuring adherence to client guidelines and achieving maximum client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Excellence: Develop and implement case strategies, identifying opportunities for litigation and complex cases, and ensuring compliance with all procedural and investigative deadlines.
  • Client Excellence: Provide exceptional client service, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all client and internal MI, and achieving both client and internal KPIs.
  • Technical Excellence: Liaise with stakeholders to carry out investigations, implement case strategies, and achieve the best results in litigation, while ensuring full compliance with the court timetable and procedural tactical advantages.
  • Financial Excellence: Work efficiently and effectively within a fixed fee price, ensuring commercial awareness and profitability, and achieving financial targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified.
  • Experience of handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case load.
  • Understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes, together with indemnity principles.
  • Knowledge of the litigation process, working knowledge of the CPR, relevant Personal Injury Protocols, and working platforms/portals.
  • Good advocacy skills, client care skills, and evidence of working to client guidelines.
  • High level of analytical skills, excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, and ability to prioritize work, keep to deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions, and excellent IT skills.
  • Experience of time recording and billing systems.
