LIMA Networks LTD is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of our internal financial controls and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning: Develop and lead the annual budget, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure projections.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze actual performance against the budget, providing insights into variances.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future business performance under various scenarios.
- Internal Audit: Develop and execute audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Compliance: Conduct audits of financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of the annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP, manage the statutory accounts preparation, and liaise with external auditors.
- Process Improvement: Analyze processes and financial records to identify inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and areas of non-compliance.
- Risk Management: Support risk management activities by identifying potential risks and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and due diligence.
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent UK accounting certification.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial control, and financial planning and analysis.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis tools. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Dynamics).
- Competitive Salary: A starting salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000.
