Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, including payroll processing, employee records, and attendance management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, including payroll processing, employee records, and attendance management.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR function, including compiling and updating employee records, and ensuring they are maintained correctly on the system.
- Provide first-line support to managers and direct them to correct policies and procedures.
- Support with attendance and absence issues, including investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Upload job posts, organize interviews, and raise contracts.
- Organize training sessions and note-taking in meetings.
- 3-5 years' demonstrated experience working in an HR environment or team.
- CIPD or relevant practical work experience.
- Experience within logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Market-leading salary disclosed at application stage.
- 20 days annual leave + 9 bank holidays + an additional day each year of service.
- Pension 5% + 8%.
- Private healthcare after 2 years' service.
