About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, including payroll processing, employee records, and attendance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, including payroll processing, employee records, and attendance management.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR function, including compiling and updating employee records, and ensuring they are maintained correctly on the system.
  • Provide first-line support to managers and direct them to correct policies and procedures.
  • Support with attendance and absence issues, including investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Upload job posts, organize interviews, and raise contracts.
  • Organize training sessions and note-taking in meetings.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' demonstrated experience working in an HR environment or team.
  • CIPD or relevant practical work experience.
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
