About The Role

We are seeking a Flexi-Bank Support Worker to join our team at Stanway Villa, a vibrant and lively residential care home in Colchester. As a Flexi-Bank Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care to our service users with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

You will have the opportunity to get to know our service users, including Grant, Pat, and Susan, and support them to do the things they love. You will be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.

Key Responsibilities

As a Flexi-Bank Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing person-centered support plans and promoting independence
  • Developing flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth
  • Supporting individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs
  • Facilitating effective communication and maintaining detailed, person-centered records
  • Overseeing medication processes and supporting individuals in self-administration
  • Maintaining a safe, clean living environment and adhering to health and safety protocols
