Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic clinical psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Rehabilitation Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering psychology services to clients with complex physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise the clinical work of junior staff and psychology students in the psychology department.
  • Provide training and advice to colleagues on the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural implications of acquired brain injury.
  • Initiate and engage in formal research projects, publishing as appropriate.
  • Conduct analysis of psychology and clinical outcomes as required.
  • Support the Psychology team and members of the multidisciplinary team as needed.
  • Represent the Service at clinical and non-clinical meetings, providing presentations and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Support the team and families in planning discharges, taking into account psychological and cognitive needs.
  • Assess and manage mental capacity and risk issues as appropriate, in collaboration with the Lead Psychologist and wider MDT.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience working within neuro psychology and a strong understanding of the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural implications of acquired brain injury.
