About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at a reputable privately owned hotel in Lincolnshire. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive and reactive sales, working closely with the sales department and front office team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Work closely with the sales team to maximize all opportunities, including conferences, meetings, and events.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, conduct get-to-know calls, and plan appointments to secure new business.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows and industry events to promote the hotel's services and products.
- Support the hotel General Manager to ensure effective data capture and database management processes and systems are in place for the hotel.
- Maintain extensive market and product knowledge to adapt products and services to meet client requirements and business trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel sales management.
- Strong commercial outlook, sales, and revenue-driven.
- Excellent sales, customer care, account management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and influencing skills.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic, driven to achieve results.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and engage effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of PMS and CRM systems preferred, although training will be given.
