About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at East Coast Community Healthcare CIC. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intermediate Care Centre, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the on-going assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in line with service pathways and agreed treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient condition and health needs, working in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Act as a patient advocate, respecting patient confidentiality and diversity, and providing holistic and person-centered care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development of care pathways and outcomes for patients.
  • Take charge of the service and/or site in the absence of a Sister/Charge Nurse, accepting responsibility to lead the team and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Nursing to enable NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and a professional portfolio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and autonomously, with a willingness to work flexible hours and locations to accommodate the needs of the service.
  • Compliance with ECCH policies and procedures, including Health and Safety Policy, Fire and Environmental Waste Regulations.
