Job SummaryWe are seeking a Permanent Assistant Psychologist to join our West Dunbartonshire Learning Disability Service. The successful candidate will support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service by providing psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment and interventions to clients within the service
- Work independently according to an agreed plan and within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures
- Support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service
The ideal candidate will have a First or Upper Second Class honours degree in Psychology and be eligible for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society. We encourage applications from all sections of the community and promote a culture of inclusion across the organisation.
Working ArrangementsThe post is part-time, working 29.6 hours across Monday to Friday. The salary is pro rata for part-time hours. We are committed to reducing our full-time working week from 37 hours and will apply this reduction pro rata for part-time staff.
