About the Role

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our construction projects and ensure their successful delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site teams, including contractors and sub-contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans, ensuring that all personnel are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety records, and quality control documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and to budget.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Valid SMSTS certificate and CSCS card, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
