We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our site management team at Stockton Council as a Lead Site Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety measures are in place and adhered to, maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of site service personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Conduct repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of our users.
  • Key Holding: Be responsible for key holding and opening/closing of the school, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Planned Maintenance: Carry out planned maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and ensure our facilities are running efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Strong DIY Skills: Possess strong DIY skills and be able to independently prioritize tasks to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and able to work a shift-based schedule, including occasional late evenings.
  • Transportation: Own transport and business insurance are essential for this role, as occasional work at other schools within the council may be required.
