Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Our client, a leading software development and design company in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join their growing team. As a key member of the software engineering department, you will be responsible for developing clients' software products and platforms using your expertise in full stack development and back-end platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain large-scale Ruby on Rails SaaS products in an agile team environment.
  2. Design and implement cloud architecture and services, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  3. Review and improve code quality, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain large software systems.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working in an agile team, delivering product-focused functionality in large-scale Ruby on Rails SaaS products.
  2. Strong expertise in planning and implementing cloud architecture and services, including AWS or GCP.
  3. Excellent coding skills, with a focus on Ruby 7 and the Ruby on Rails framework.
  4. Experience designing, building, and maintaining large software systems, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
