Working Hours – 37.5 per week

Compensation - £32,000 plus fuel allowance

Are you committed to delivering exceptional care and promoting independent living for seniors? At McCarthy Stone, we prioritize the well-being of our Homeowners and are seeking a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to enhance our team.

Role Overview: In the position of Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our management service delivery team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing personal care services for Homeowners, ensuring that our care offerings are customized to meet individual needs and preferences. You will collaborate closely with the Registered Care Manager to supervise Care & Support Assistants, ensure adherence to organizational standards, and contribute to the development of personalized care plans that uphold dignity, privacy, and positive outcomes.

You will utilize your personal vehicle for work-related travel, with all expenses reimbursed, allowing you to navigate between our developments in North Bristol without financial concerns.

Key Duties:

Assist the Registered Care Manager in managing a designated area, including staff oversight and Homeowner evaluations. Ensure our care services are safe, effective, and of the highest standard. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain effective communication and administrative systems. Monitor and support Care Workers, conducting competency assessments and spot checks. Provide out-of-hours on-call support as part of the on-call rota. Perform administrative tasks and assist in generating management information.

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in care and a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Willingness to pursue a Level 3 qualification. Strong understanding of the care sector and independent living for older adults. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work remotely or from a development office.
