As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will work within a specialist clinical area, providing autonomous professional support and supervision, or collaborating with a more senior Physiotherapist for complex cases.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive neurological assessments, analyses, and treatment plans, ensuring they are informed by the best evidence and practice guidelines.
- Deliver effective treatment plans, adjusting according to the individual's response, multidisciplinary team discussion, and other influencing factors.
- Provide specialist professional advice and support, using complex clinical problem-solving to address challenging behaviours and mental health disorders.
- Engage in a specialist area of interest within the wider physio team, contributing to the development of innovative interventions.
- Work proactively as part of the multidisciplinary team, providing physiotherapy input within the BIRT neurobehavioural/neuropsychological model.
- Develop and implement specialist physiotherapeutic interventions across the three Brainkind pathways: Neurobehavioural, Neurorestorative, and well-being.
- Ensure timely completion of Brainkind's outcome measure database, and that the local team is doing so.
- Effectively manage time and caseload within a potentially pressurised environment, prioritising workload and delegating tasks as needed.
- Understand and comply with responsibilities regarding risk management and safeguarding, ensuring a safe working environment for individuals and staff.
