Overview:

Are you a recent graduate in English looking to gain practical classroom experience before pursuing your teaching qualification? Join the dedicated team at Protocol Education, where we facilitate opportunities for you to work within local educational institutions.

There is currently a significant demand for substitute teachers in secondary school English departments. Your role will involve covering English lessons for students in years 7 to 11. All lesson plans will be provided, and you will not be responsible for grading assignments.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to acquire valuable classroom experience as you prepare to become a qualified educator.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Hons) in English, with a focus on literature or language.
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence in managing large groups of students.
