Job Title: Teaching Assistant for English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long Term
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support students learning English as an additional language in a primary school setting. As an EAL Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students integrate into the classroom and succeed academically.
About the Role:
As an EAL Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing essential support to students learning English as an additional language, helping them to develop their language skills and integrate into the classroom.
- Collaborating with teachers to deliver tailored educational experiences that meet the individual needs of English language learners.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to enhance students' understanding and use of English.
- Helping to create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of EAL students, providing feedback and strategies for improvement.
- Engaging with parents and guardians to support their involvement in their children's education.
Requirements:
- Experience working with primary school students, particularly those with English as an additional language needs.
