About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead SaaS Sales professional to join our team at Dovetail & Slate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence in the power and utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement commercial strategies to achieve business growth and market expansion.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the power generation sector.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, energy providers, and industrial clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine product positioning and sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with our product team to align offerings with customer needs and market demands.
  • Sales Execution: Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Industry Representation: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

  • Proven SaaS Sales Experience: Successful track record in selling SaaS solutions with a strong understanding of the software sales cycle.
  • Energy Sector Knowledge: Experience in the power and utilities industry, especially related to power generation and operational technologies.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Relationship Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key client relationships.
  • Results-Oriented: History of surpassing sales targets and achieving significant business results.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and capable of creating and refining sales strategies.
