We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Custody Nurse to join our dynamic team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to individuals in police custody.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in police custody.
- Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
- Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police custody and record any injuries or DNA evidence.
- Collect specimens as required under legislation and provide written statements as needed.
- Attend court or tribunal as required and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Assess alcohol and drug intoxication and withdrawal, identify vulnerabilities, and safeguarding pathways.
- Support the clinical governance agenda of the organization and administer medications through PGDs and PTPs.

Benefits- Competitive salary of £37,000 per annum (full-time).
- Minimum Band 5.
- 2 years' minimum experience required.
