Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) and related activities to meet the current and future needs of our business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SHEQ policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on safe systems of work to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Oversee the implementation of ISO management systems and ensure that all sites and teams are operating in accordance with these standards.
  • Liaise with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain the company's CoSHH control measures and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
  • Support project teams in the development of safe working processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on SHEQ performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification).
  • Experience in a similar position within the construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting regulations.
  • Detailed knowledge of all current H&S laws and legislation.
  • Passionate about Health & Safety.
  • SMSTS desirable.
  • Relevant driving licence.
