Job Overview

Role Responsibilities

As a HIAB Driver, your primary duties will include the delivery and collection of various equipment such as plant machinery, utility tools, road plates, and pipe containers to construction sites across the South East, including Essex and London.

You will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading heavy equipment using a HIAB crane or grab
  • Maintaining effective communication and providing excellent customer service
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to all tasks
Requirements for Success

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience as a HIAB Driver
  • A minimum of a Class 2 (Class C) driving license
  • CPC certification and a Digital Tachograph
  • Experience in delivering plant machinery and accessories

Previous experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 driver, including roles such as CAT C, CAT C + E, HGV2, or HGV1, is advantageous. Familiarity with flatbed, beavertail, or low loader vehicles is also beneficial.
