Job Summary:

  1. Teach core woodworking skills, including joinery, construction, and design.
  2. Plan and deliver lessons that build practical skills and boost confidence in students, preparing them for potential careers in the carpentry trade.
  3. Experience with SEMH is critical; however, other relevant experience such as working with students in alternative education settings or pupil referral units is suitable as well.
  4. Provide a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Skills Required:

  1. This role is suitable for qualified teachers with or without QTS or QTLS as well as Instructors.

About the Role:

Parker Smith Inclusion Ltd is seeking an experienced carpentry instructor to join their vocational teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH and other special educational needs.
