About the Job

As an MET Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs, including ADAS and wheel alignment.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Order replacement parts.
  • Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
  • Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MET Technician with a strong background in accident repair. You will have a high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure.

Requirements

  • Significant experience working as an MET in an accident repair background.
  • Training and working knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Competence in ADAS, wheel alignment, strip/refit, mechanical work, and using diagnostic machines.
  • Ability to plan workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Completion of work in line with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Flexibility in approach, working to high standards and with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Experience and training in electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as holding ATA/NVQ qualifications in automotive repair.
