We are in search of a Lead Artisan Baker who possesses a genuine enthusiasm for baking and can produce exceptional handcrafted bread using traditional methods. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of dough preparation and fermentation, along with proficiency in shaping, mixing, and baking various types of bread, including sourdoughs, baguettes, and specialty loaves.
If you are:
- Enthusiastic about baking with substantial experience
- Effective in communication, organization, and leadership
- Experienced in supervising a team within an artisan bakery setting
- Proficient in utilizing IT tools such as Outlook and Excel
- A role model with strong planning capabilities
At The Bread Factory, you will:
- Oversee production processes and strategize daily manufacturing based on demand
- Ensure strict compliance with recipes and uphold superior product quality
- Offer insights for recipe improvements and assist in the development of new products
- Optimize work schedules for enhanced productivity
- Manage inventory levels and promptly address equipment concerns
- Evaluate performance metrics and quality standards
- Foster positive customer relationships and implement necessary operational adjustments
- Lead and mentor bakery staff, including recruitment as necessary
