We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Yunex Traffic. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the general public.
About the Role
- Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate effective and proportionate management of health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across the South Region.
- Develop positive and proactive business relationships with all stakeholders.
- Provide technical advice, coaching, training, and support for the delivery of risk management programs.
- Monitor and improve the implementation of risk assessments, work instructions, and KPIs.
- Support accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist in maintaining ISO and FORS accreditation and support internal and external audits.
- Requirements
- Recent and demonstrable experience as an HSQE Advisor.
- Relevant professional qualification; Level 3 qualification in H&S (essential); Level 6 H&S Qualification & second related discipline (preferred).
- Excellent communication, proactive support, and ability to act as a role model.
- Subject matter expert with specialist advice and support capabilities.
- Membership of an appropriate professional body; Chartered membership (desirable).
