Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's facility in Leicester as a key member of their maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £48,500
  • OTE of £60,000
  • A generous holiday allowance and excellent overtime opportunities

Training and Development:

  • Opportunities for OEM certification and qualifications, including Siemens PLC and robotics training up to a level 3

Working Arrangements:

  • 4 on 4 off Continental shifts (Days and Nights)
