Accounting Technician Role

Our esteemed client, a leading accountancy firm in Derry City, seeks an experienced Accounting Technician to join their team of dedicated professionals. This exciting opportunity presents a chance to work in a dynamic and established environment, contributing to the success of a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform bank reconciliations and summarise financial information
  • Analyse financial data and prepare self-assessment returns
  • Manage client bookkeeping records and payroll duties
  • Support the Payroll Manager in maintaining accurate records
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience as an Accounting Technician
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified Accounting Technician or qualified by experience
  • Desirable: Payroll experience and proficiency in Sage and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
