About the RoleThe Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) is Northern Ireland's principal educational body responsible for Curriculum Development and Implementation, Examinations and Qualifications and Assessment. CCEA plays a central role in Northern Ireland's education system, setting curriculum frameworks, administering exams, and providing innovative assessment solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Make informed strategic decisions, considering opportunity, impact, and risk
- Influence across a diverse stakeholder base to reform the Northern Ireland curriculum and qualifications
- Deliver positive learning outcomes for all our children and young people
Application for the role of Chairperson is by submission of a completed application form to the closing date of 4pm BST on Thursday 24 October 2024. CCEA is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
