We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team in Staffordshire. As a Home Tutor, you will work with pupils in their own homes, providing one-on-one support to help them access education and overcome the difficulties they face.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored educational support to pupils in their homes, focusing on individual learning needs.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that address the unique barriers to learning faced by each pupil.
- Provide consistent and patient guidance, helping pupils manage their behavioural, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with pupils who have additional needs or face barriers to learning.
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).
- A strong understanding of how to engage and motivate pupils with challenging behaviours or mental health concerns.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and their families.
- A flexible and adaptive approach to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
