Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in the Older People's Services inpatient wards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
About the Role- Plan and deliver individualized care to patients, including organizing appointments, treatments, and interventions.
- Manage and prioritize your workload, balancing the needs of patients and service requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care for patients with high-risk clinical needs.
- Develop and maintain patient autonomy, assess their commitment to care plans, and foster personal responsibility for health.
- Deliver care interventions and nursing advice in various settings, promoting patient flexibility and choice.

Person Specification- A broad understanding of relevant policy, legislation, and their application to clinical and service areas.
- Full understanding of relevant policy drivers and their application to clinical and service areas.
- Part III or 13 of the NMC live register.
- Willingness to undertake mentorship training and responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience of mentoring pre-registration students.
- Evidence of current CPD or formal qualifications at an advanced level.
This role requires frequent concentration, such as assessments and care plans.
