Job Title: Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at Koura. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for leading customer technical support activities for Pharma regulated propellants used in complex medical device applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop expertise in respiratory drug delivery technology to support customers and inform product and business strategy.
  • Support and enable customer adoption and use of medical propellant portfolio through problem solving, confidence building, and relationship management with key decision makers in Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) production companies.
  • Represent the company at regional and global conferences and trade shows.
  • Ensure that marketing literature and other communication processes are up to date and correct, and work with the marketing department to develop and exploit new materials when possible.
  • Lead customer technical interactions for the medical propellant portfolio.
  • Build positive relationships with key MDI customers in all regions.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree/PhD in a related field.
  • Technical background in MDIs or other Pharma devices.
  • Minimum of 3 years of GMP and Pharma business processes.
  • Management experience in regulated companies within cGMP environments.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a technical customer service team.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of handling pressurized gases.
  • Application and significance of propellant to MDI devices.
  • Detailed understanding of MDI production technologies.
  • Technical problem-solving skills.
  • Broad understanding of QC, QA, technical, and engineering in MDI.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
