Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at a residential provider in the Northallerton area.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work with adults ranging from 18 to 65 years old who have been diagnosed with complex learning disabilities. You will provide support for the residents in their everyday life and assist them with personal care when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in their community
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest level of care and support
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a residential home or have relevant qualifications
  • De-escalation training is desirable but not essential
  • Experienced in personal care
  • 'Can-do' attitude
  • Flexibility with shifts
