Job Summary

The ELC Advisor is a key role within the ESTéE LAUDER Companies, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth in Travel Retail locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge across ELC brands, including brand stories and hero products.
  • Provide personalized service and experience to customers, utilizing exceptional people and conversational skills to meet their needs.
  • Achieve sales targets and goals set by the Company, while maintaining high standards of personal grooming and adhering to ELC's standards and policies.
  • Link sell across brands to grow Items Per Transaction and Average Basket Value.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
  • Utilize the Education Team strategy to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and skill sets.
  • Deliver excellence in execution of service, creating a zero consumer complaints mindset and a surprise and delight culture.
  • Report daily and weekly sales to Team Leader/SEE as required.
Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Develop strong working relationships with the team, colleagues, managers, and retailers.
  • Help colleagues and team efficiency by being flexible and taking on tasks as required.
  • Communicate information to the Team Leader/ Sales and Education Executive.
  • Attend and actively participate in training meetings, virtual or at-counter, as provided by Sales and Education teams.
  • Actively participate in and complete online learning modules.
Maintenance and Administration
  • Clean counters, tester stands, and displays regularly to maintain hygiene guidelines.
  • Merchandise back fixtures and display counters as directed.
  • Complete all administration accurately, legibly, and on time.
Requirements
  • Previous retail industry/guest services experience is desirable (preferably within beauty or luxury goods).
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate excitement for and the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Sales and goal-oriented, with the ability to maintain level of sales performance as determined by Company goals set.
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is desirable.
  • Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview.
