About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Technical Assurance Lead to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading technical assurance activities to mature our cyber security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on IT technical cyber security assurance activities, ensuring our security posture is aligned with industry best practices.
  • Conduct security assessments using Cloud Security Posture Management and Vulnerability Management platforms to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with our CISO and Governance team to provide technical guidance and ensure technical vulnerabilities are understood and managed against defined standards and policies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Breach and Attack Simulation methodology, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security Posture Management platforms.
  • Utilize these platforms to continuously assess our overall cyber security posture, providing data-driven insights to inform our Cyber Security strategy and compliance obligations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of threat and vulnerability management.
  • Experience managing complex deliveries of technical projects, with a focus on security and assurance.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft security tools and experience with Cloud Security Posture Management and Vulnerability Management platforms.
  • Desirable certifications include EST CPSA/CRT, CREST CRTIA, and CCSP.
