Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Education Specialist to join our expert team. Your Role in SEN Education:

As a SEN Education Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to creating an adaptive and supportive learning environment will be essential. Key responsibilities include:

  • Tailored Support: Assist in providing individualised support through one-on-one and small group sessions, designed to meet the unique needs of each student, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
  • Positive Behaviour Support: Help implement positive behaviour strategies that promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all students, enabling them to reach their full potential.
  • Support with Progress Monitoring: Aid in conducting observations and assessments, contributing to tracking student progress and providing valuable feedback to the wider team, including parents and carers.

About You:

  • Specialist Experience: Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with a range of SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, sensory impairments, and communication needs, will be a strong advantage.
  • Key Attributes: You are patient, empathetic, and deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SEN. You embrace and promote inclusive practices.
