Care Assistant Opportunity at Queens View Harbour Care Home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Queens View Harbour Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with medication management and administration
  • Engage residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or equivalent role
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.10
  • Contracted hours of 33 per week, with opportunities for overtime
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave
