Job Title: Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at North West Anglia NHSFT on a locum basis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory medicine services.

About the Role:

As a locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions. Your skills and experience will be essential in helping us to deliver high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD and other chronic lung diseases.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle advice.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of our respiratory medicine services, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Be a GMC registered Doctor (you do NOT need to be on the Specialist Register).
  • Have relevant experience at Consultant level, or references to support your transition up to Consultant level.
  • Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (unfortunately locum jobs aren't able to offer visa sponsorship).
  • You will need to pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
