The successful candidate will be a key member of our Application Support Team, reporting to the Team Leader. Key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders, including IT teams, developers, and technical experts.
- Collaborating with the team to identify and implement workarounds, such as data corrections and process improvements.
- Analyzing issues and proposing long-term corrections and improvements, leveraging access to computer codes, customer data, and historical problem records.
- Transferring incidents to relevant resources for further support and investigation.
- Participating in technical and functional training to enhance knowledge of software and the banking industry, with opportunities to evolve into new roles.
Requirements include:
- Degree or Master's in Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
- Experience with Cobol, Java, or C++ programming languages, as well as APIs and Client-Server architectures.
- Proficiency in ITSM and Service Desk management tools, with ITIL/Agile methodology experience a plus.
- Knowledge of testing, defect management, and change/release processes.
