Location: Not specified

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday with some weekend responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

The daily responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments
  • Addressing inquiries through phone, in-person, and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance documentation
  • Dispensing medications
  • Processing payments
  • Most importantly, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for clients visiting our facility

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist role is required; experience in a veterinary setting is advantageous
  • Ability to handle potentially emotional situations with resilience
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of empathy
  • Excellent customer service abilities and experience engaging with the public
  • Positive demeanor and strong teamwork capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various database management systems
