Position Overview
This position is dedicated to maximizing the use of current functionalities, as well as identifying and evaluating new capabilities within the primary clinical systems and custom software utilized by the organization, as directed by the IM&T Operational Group and relevant Divisional IM&T channels.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will engage closely with IM&T Business Managers, the Systems Configuration and Training Team, the Application and Support Team, and the Clinical Systems Manager. Additionally, strong partnerships with the Information and Performance teams are essential to ensure effective processes, configurations, and protocols are established to uphold data integrity.
As this role involves travel across various sites, a dependable vehicle is necessary. Candidates should possess excellent communication abilities, be highly organized, self-driven, and efficient in their work.
Key Responsibilities
Role Summary (Primary Duties and Responsibilities)
IM&T Change Team
As a Systems Optimization Specialist, you will be an integral member of the IM&T Change Team. This team provides guidance on clinical systems (primarily SystmOne) to various services within the organization, focusing on functionality and opportunities for enhanced efficiency or solution development.
The team operates across all organizational directorates, including:
- Community Health Services
- Families, Young People & Children, Learning Disabilities, and Autism
- Adult Mental Health and Older Persons Mental Health
The team is composed of IM&T Business Managers, Senior IT Specialists (Change Managers), Systems Optimization Specialists, Change Officers, and a Programme Assistant.
