Overview

We are inviting applications from individuals with relevant or transferable experience to join our dedicated team of Emergency Response Support Officers.

About the Organization

Our organization provides a vital 24/7 alarm monitoring and response service, assisting a significant number of vulnerable individuals across various boroughs.

Clients utilize pendant alarms and other monitoring devices to seek help during emergencies, such as falls or other crises.

Our team is responsible for monitoring alerts from clients and coordinating necessary assistance.

When appropriate, an Emergency Response Support Officer will be dispatched to provide on-site support to clients in need.

Given the critical nature of our services, we collaborate closely with emergency services, including ambulance, police, and fire departments.

Key Requirements

While prior experience in this specific role is not mandatory, candidates with backgrounds in emergency services, such as ambulance or fire response, are encouraged to apply.

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Current First Aid Certification from a recognized UK provider.
  • Fire Safety Awareness Training.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques, as assistance may be required for clients who have fallen.
  • Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS Checks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly.
  • Ability to remain composed and think clearly in challenging situations.
  • A valid UK driving license with the capability to navigate Central London.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
  • Ability to perform call monitoring duties as required.
