Job Summary

Under direct supervision, learns and performs a wide variety of technical duties to ensure our aviation product range is compliant with industry best practice. To assist and become proficient in the service and support critical infrastructure Security & Detection Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Works within UK Service.
  • Competently uses Test Equipment (DVM, Radiation meters and PAC tester).
  • Attends internal product training.
  • Trains to perform assembly tasks.
  • Assists in the repair and maintenance of Security & Detection Systems within Field Service.
  • Trains to wire electrical control cabinets.
  • Trains to understand GA drawings and Electrical documentation.
  • Attends college on a day release basis leading to attainment of Engineering Technician Level 3 qualification.
  • Works across all departments to achieve a complete understanding of the Service, Manufacturing / Engineering processes.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to undertake and follow instructions.
  • Able to express ideas clearly.
  • An interest in electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Good GCSE secondary school qualifications in core subjects.
  • Ability to use computers and understanding of Microsoft packages.
Working Environment

Pay Range
