Job Title: Specialised Teaching Assistant

Location: Northwich

Pay Rate: £77 to £90 Per Day

Connex Education is working with a SEND School who need a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is only open to applicants able to work full-time, as the school requires a dedicated individual to support students with Severe Learning Needs.

The Role:

  • Support students with Severe Learning Needs, including those with non-verbal communication and challenging behaviours.
  • Provide personal care and support to students with attachment disorders, such as anxiety.
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to develop and implement individualised education plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
  • Ability to provide personal care and support to students with attachment disorders.
  • Confidence in working with challenging behaviour.
  • Current enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to provide a new one.
