Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Cheshire West

Type: Day-to-Day Supply

Salary: £77-£90 per day

About Us:

Connex Education is a leading provider of education recruitment services. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a calm and nurturing learning environment for pupils aged 3-19 years.
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Provide personal care and manage behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants to support the class teacher.
  • Build relationships with pupils and engage them in activities.

Requirements:

  • Studying or about to begin studying an SEN Degree.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young adults with Special Needs.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience and a caring personality.
  • Prior experience as a Support Worker or SEN Teaching Assistant (not essential).
