We are seeking a skilled Family Law Practitioner to enhance our team, dedicated to attracting new clientele at our esteemed legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing your own caseload within the family law division under the guidance of the director.
Providing legal counsel to individuals and families in various areas, including but not limited to: - Private Law Children Matters - Divorce Proceedings - Financial Settlements - Separation Agreements - Domestic Abuse Cases - Pre and Post Nuptial Contracts - Cohabitation Disputes.
Handling intricate and urgent legal matters.Accepting new instructions.
Conducting legal research.
Representing clients in advocacy.
Assisting the Director as needed.
Managing new inquiries and converting them into instructions.
Engaging in networking and business development activities.
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
Ideally, a fully qualified senior solicitor (3-5+ PQE preferred), although other qualifications (such as CILEX and CLC) will also be considered.
Confidence in managing an independent caseload.
Commercially aware, understanding the significance of business objectives and their influence on the practice.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
A strong academic background; experience with a leading national or regional firm is advantageous.
Proficient IT skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of family law.
Experience in managing a caseload of privately funded matters.
Demonstrated initiative and commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
High levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Organized, methodical, and adaptable.
Commercially driven with a proven track record in business development.
