Unity is seeking a seasoned Technical Art Director to spearhead the development of our next-generation content creation tools. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with engineers and product designers to craft an unparalleled user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Unity's graphic strategy and vision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the content creation experience
  • Advocate for streamlined workflows and efficient processes
  • Build and lead a high-performing team culture
  • Coordinate with other Unity teams and contribute to documentation, training, and presentations

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the latest 3D graphics technologies
  • Broad knowledge of modern 3D asset creation pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed environment
  • Proven track record of shipping multiple games as an artist or technical artist
  • Experience leading a team of at least six people

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Unity engine expertise and/or prior experience as a technical art director
  • Experience shipping on mobile or XR platforms and/or production experience with VFX or lighting
  • Fluency in French or Danish
